A realistic Hifz path that fits real family life.

A personal path to hifz program

Our Hifz memorization course for children gives families a realistic way to build new memorisation without losing earlier surahs. Each child follows an individual plan that balances new verses with recent and long-term revision. The focus is not simply reaching the next page; it is retaining what has been learned and developing habits that can continue for years.

Lessons are one-on-one with a qualified Hafiz or Hafizah who listens carefully to every verse. Parents can request a male or female Quran tutor online, subject to availability. The teacher adapts targets to the child’s reading fluency, school workload, memory strength, and family routine, so progress remains challenging but sustainable.

Is this course right for your child?

The program suits children who can read the Quran with reasonable fluency and are ready to memorise Juz Amma, selected surahs, or work towards full Hifz. Before setting targets, the tutor checks recitation, Tajweed, recall, concentration, and current revision habits. If reading still needs support, parents may be advised to strengthen Nazra or Tajweed first rather than rushing into memorisation.

Families seeking a Quran tutor for kids in the USA, UK, or Australia can arrange lessons around school hours and local time zones. The personal format also helps children who need calm encouragement, repeated listening, or smaller daily targets instead of the pressure of a group pace.

Three focused lessons each week

The recommended schedule is three lessons per week, with each session lasting 20 minutes. The tutor typically listens to sabaq, or new memorisation; sabqi, the most recently learned portion; and manzil, older revision. The balance changes according to retention. A child who is forgetting older work will spend more time consolidating before adding new verses.

Between lessons, the teacher gives a clear and achievable practice target. Parents do not need to design the Hifz plan themselves: progress notes explain what to revise, what to prepare, and where support is needed. Tajweed and pronunciation are corrected during memorisation so errors are not repeated until they become difficult habits.

Progress parents can recognise

Over time, children develop stronger recall, more accurate recitation, and a dependable revision routine. Milestones are recognised, but retention and wellbeing remain more important than speed. Whether your family’s goal is Juz Amma, selected surahs, or the complete Quran, the outcome is a child who knows how to memorise carefully, revise honestly, and return to previous work with confidence.
